What Do I Like About Plano?
I have lived in the North Dallas area for over 30 years now and Plano has always amazed me with how they managed their phenomenal growth. I am sure it wasn’t easy to go from approximately 40,000 people to over 250,000 during this span of time. What I noticed was how skillful Plano was at blending in an environment that attracted business and families. Always seeming to come up with programs that are environment friendly, business friendly, and family friendly. As I ride around Plano and see the changes that have taken place with the growth that has happened I notice it hasn’t detracted from the charm of the city. Plano was and still is a leader when it come to innovative ideas for the city and the citzens that dwell here.
When I first moved here there was not many restaurants or places to go to for entertainment but now I don’t need to go anywhere else but Plano. The restaurants are excellent and there are ton’s of things to do around the city. If I do need to take a break and visit other towns, they are within a 15 to 30 minutes drive in most cases. Please take time to visit the local Chamber to find out more about our wonderful city.
